Description

Evotech Performance have designed and manufactured a tail tidy for your BMW R 1250 RS.

No modifications to your bike are required.

Evotech Performance tail tidy can be fitted with the BMW panniers.

We have supplied an extra bracket for a no panniers version of this tail tidy.

Secured in place using existing mounting points.

CNC machined from lightweight aircraft grade aluminium.

Powder Coated black for longevity.

Vacuum formed undertray supplied with the kit.

All required fixings are supplied in the kit.

Easy to follow pictorial instructions are available to download.

Delivery

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
  • Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

Great replacement for the OEM License Plate Carrier assembly!

Overall, I like this Tail Tidy kit very much. It fits well and looks even better! No interference with my 2022 BMW R1250RS OEM side cases when they’re attached. I wasn’t expecting the license plate to be angled up so high but that is a personal preference.

A couple of suggestions:

Include in the assembly instructions tightening torques for reassembly, specifically re-installing the OEM grab handles or luggage rack if installed; also, re-installing the OEM side case/panniers holder if installed.

Secondly, as great as it is to have the option to install the Tail Tidy kit on a bike with or without OEM panniers, having installed the appropriate kit parts on a bike with them, I now have two brackets at home I’ll never use. Perhaps in addition to this kit, offer two other more specific kit options: one for a bike with panniers, one for a bike without. Fewer future options for bike owners but potentially fewer kit parts left over.

Perfect option

Excellent high quality product, giving two options of tail tidy: shorter and longer, allowing to carry paniers too. Easy to fit, with excellent and clear step by step instruction. Definitely recommend it.

Tidy job

Well made quality product, a little fiddly to install but that’s mainly an issue with the bike itself. Like the fact you give two options for fitting, with or without panniers, nice touch.
Bottom line it makes the rear of the bike so much better to look at & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
