Why the need to protect both guards?
The CRF1000L Africa Twin Adventure Sport dual-radiators are positioned for maximum cooling effect of passing air and, therefore, prone to damage from road debris and loose off-road surface material. Without protection, the radiators’ delicate cooling fins get damaged and misaligned, and the radiator cores can also be holed by stones – leaking coolant will result in overheating and possible engine damage. EP radiator guards are designed to help protect the radiators without restricting airflow – and look good at the same time.
