What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Constructed from engineering grade materials, EP Spindle Bobbins Kit for the Yamaha XSR700, offers protection to the wheel spindle, lower front forks, brake calipers and swingarm. The discreet black bobbins, featuring a strengthening aluminium inner, sit neatly either side of the wheel spindle held by a rolled-thread spindle rod. The durable materials of injection-moulded nylon and aluminium expect to be first to receive impact should an incident occur, with allowance for the bobbin to rotate on impact to reduce stress and wear.
