Are EP Radiator Guard really necessary?

Most definitely yes. EP radiator guard protect the Moto Guzzi V100 radiator from road debris damage while allowing cooling air to pass through. The cooler unit consist of delicate cooling fins and internal cores - the fins easily bend and block the passage of air, which can lead to the engine overheating. Also, the internal cores can be holed by stones as a result of being picked up and flung directly into the radiator from the bike's front tyre, or by other traffic. And leaking, slippery coolant on tyres can cause loss of grip.

I have the Evotech radiator guards on all my water-cooled motorcycles. They look good, fit perfectly and reliably protect the cooler from damage.

Easy Install - Quality Product

This is my second Evo-Tech product ( both radiator guards for different bikes). The guards are high quality. The instructions, especially the illustrations are fantastic.

Nice piece of kit

The first ever water cooled Moto Guzzi is a stunner and needs/deserves an equally classy radiator guard. The Evotech one fits the bill (and the bike) beautifully.

Quality Grille - Easy to Install

Received radiator guard (grille) for new 2023 Moto Guzzi Mandello S on west coast of USA in approx. 8 days from order. Shipped Royal Mail to my US P.O. Box (many vendors will not ship to a P.O. Box}. Read installation instructions ahead of time by downloading from Evotech website. 5 minutes to familiarize myself with included components: Mounting ****, rubber bushing and mini rubber bungs which go between the grille mesh and designated spots on the radiator. Two holes on the bottom of the grille simply slip over the raised metal bosses on the bottom of the radiator. I love the way these products are engineered. Completed the rest of the installation in another 5 minutes. Doesn't get much easier. You can purchase similar product made elsewhere but I steered clear and don't regret it. I was very happy with the Evotech radiator guard I put on my 2019 Triumph Speed Trilple S so went back for the same protection and quality for my Mandello.

Radiator guard motoguzzi v100s

Seems like a quality product straightforward fitting and blends in well as to be unobtrusive not looking like an aftermarket part. Quick postal service well packaged would recommend to other customers
