Garmin is ideally placed just under my line of sight. Might need a slightly taller screen on a 2026 z900 and you also need the Evotech screen angle mount.

The product is great. Once it is fitted into the steering stem in the right position it feels very secure and I've done 300+ miles with it in place. That's the good vibes. The bad comes from the bike. a twin like the RS 600 is vibey and you 100% need to pair this mount with a vibration damping accessory. In my opinion this product should not be sold without one. 1 of the 3 cameras on my iPhone 14 Pro is now badly damaged (the image stabilisation is bust) and it is the fault of me fitting my phone to this mount. Those 300+ miles were done over 2 days and nothing else happened to the phone outside of the strong high-frequency vibrations being channelled directly into the device. No fault of EP, but this mount NEEDS the Quad Lock vibration 'dampener' (their spelling), which is available separately.

Crash bobbins I hope I will never need to rely on. This said, a quality product that was straightforward to fit with the online instructions. They are a quality item and do not detract from the look of the motorcycle.

Very easy to install and there is no need to remove the front wheel. The only thing to keep in mind is that the bolt must be tightened to the specified torque, so a torque wrench with the correct socket is required.

The product feels premium, is very well made and fits the Honda CB1000R perfectly. Visually, the bobbins blend in so well that they almost look factory fitted.

I installed the Evotech Crash Protection on my Honda CB1000R Black Edition and I am very impressed with the quality of the product.

The crash protectors fit the motorcycle perfectly, both technically and visually. They look like they were designed as part of the bike rather than added afterwards. The finish is excellent, the supplied bolts are very high quality, and the whole kit definitely feels like a premium product.

One important point is the installation. I would not describe this as a difficult job, but it needs to be done carefully and with the correct tools. The motorcycle should be standing perfectly upright, ideally supported with front and rear paddock stands. It is also very helpful to support the engine from underneath with a suitable jack to remove any load or tension from the engine mounting bolts.

Extra care is required when removing and reinstalling the bolts. If the engine is not properly supported and the bolts are misaligned, it would be quite easy to damage the threads.

You will also need the correct tools. The original Honda mounting bolt uses a conventional hex head, while the Evotech replacement bolt uses an Allen/hex socket, so make sure you have the correct size tool before starting. A torque wrench is also essential to tighten everything to the specified torque.

If you do not have the right tools or experience, I would recommend having the installation done by someone experienced. With proper preparation and the correct equipment, however, the installation goes smoothly.

Overall, I am very satisfied. Excellent fit, very solid construction, high-quality hardware and a design that suits the CB1000R perfectly. A genuine premium product.

I installed this mount on my Honda CB1000R Black Edition. Installation was simple and everything fitted perfectly. The mount looks great on the bike and blends in very well with its design. The navigation screen is clearly visible and positioned perfectly for riding.
