What is an Evotech Evo Folding Clutch & Brake Lever Set

Quite simply, a quality, British-designed, full length aftermarket clutch and brake lever set that are fully adjustable, stylish and are less prone to break in the event of spill, or simple drop of the bike to enable you to carry on riding. Each EP Evo Folding Clutch & Brake Lever features a pivot point that allows the lever to move upwards when it is struck by a solid object. The pivot point features a tensioned spring system to hold the lever in place as per a standard lever, so it cannot accidentally be moved by the rider’s hands/fingers. EP brake levers and EP clutch levers also feature a six-way finger span adjuster to fine tune the ideal lever position.

 

Are they for road or track day use, and are they safe to be used on the road?

All EP Evo Folding Clutch & Brake Lever Sets are designed for road, track day and even off-road excursions on ADV bikes – basically any riding situation you would normally ride your road-going motorcycle. With regards to them being safe to use – they are very safe. Each component part has been designed by Evotech Performance engineers to deal with the rigours of an OE clutch and brake lever with added benefit of a pivot system to allow both levers to pivot upwards when they hit a solid object. This reduces the chances of the levers breaking and leaving you stranded.

Evotech Evo Folding Clutch and Brake Lever Set - Triumph Tiger Sport 800

These folding levers are made exceptionally well and look great the different coloured span adjusters are a nice touch and work as advertised the levers etc are easy to fit. I was a little sceptical of the folding part of the levers but I've found that the spring that holds them in the correct position is very strong so there's no worries of the levers folding unexpectedly.

Tiger sport 800 levers

Excellent quality worth the money would normally have used manufacturer accessories but triumph in their wisdom don't do a span adjustable clutch lever for this bike. Easy to change levers, but be careful to not loose the very small ball bearing if you change the coloured adjusters and watch the video first! (its not difficult just a little fiddly)

Huge impact

The only disappointment with my shiny new Tiger Sport 800 was that Triumph had skimped on the levers. The clutch has no span adjustment at all and you need hands like dinnerplates [I am 5'7"]. I was concerned at the big outlay for these but the quality is evident as soon as you fit them. The transformed the TS800, probably all in my head but the whole bike feels smaller and easy to manage now. precision is restored.

Very Nice Brake and Clutch Levers

These are beautiful upgrades for your Tiger Sport 800. I got them primarily because the original clutch lever was not adjustable. They install easily, but be careful of the clutch and brake switch. They are comfortable, foldable and adjustable. I was impressed with the packaging as well.
