A bit of light reading…

Did you know that Evotech Performance not only manufactures worldclass motorcycle accessories, but also stocks workshop equipment, spares for Evotech products, Evotech merchandise, and rear lights? Yes, you read that right. Rear lights! And number plate lights.

There are very rare occasions when the Evotech Design Team cannot reposition/reuse a motorcycle’s OE rear light assembly for it to work in conjunction with an Evotech Tail Tidy. It could be because the light assembly is too big or simply an awkward shape e.g. the rear light, brake light and numberplate / licence plate lamp are all individual components.

The need for a suitable alternative rear light assembly to get the stylish, sleeker, sportier silhouette nearly all motorcyclists crave for led to the Evotech Combination Rear Light / Number Plate Light. Two lights actually and both are very tasty units for anyone creating a custom build bike. Not ‘custom’ as in Harley-esque cruiser style, although they would look good, but custom as in a unique, home-brewed special.

Evotech Combination Rear Light / Number Plate Lights are available in two distinct styles. One has a crystal-clear lens cover, with red glow emitting LEDs for the brake light and rear light, and clear LEDs for the numberplate / licence plate. The other is a red lens with LED lamps to suit, and a clear undersection for licence plate illumination. Both units come complete with wiring and universal connectors and are a cinch to wire up. Mounting is also a breeze thanks to two 5 mm threaded studs located in the lens body. Both units are E-marked in accordance with market homologation requirements.

Evotech also stocks numberplate / licence plate LED lamp units – the very same items used on many Evotech Tail Tidy designs. Once again, they are E-marked and come complete with associated wiring for an easy install. Compact and stylish, they are the perfect answer to remaining legal and in style. And being LED lamps, this units are ideal for green laning / dirt riding where normal filament bulbs usually blow due to excessive vibration.
