Evotech Performance have released a comprehensive range of products for one of the biggest selling adventure bikes on the market today; the BMW R1200 GS. The unique styling and design of this ever popular adventure bike has required Evotech Performance to âthink outside the boxâ with our product range, whilst retaining the high quality and innovation EP are renowned for.
BMW Crash Protection
The Evotech Performance design team have come up with a truly unique crash protection system for the R1200GS. Due to the engine design of the motorcycle, the cylinder heads are very prominent, making them susceptible to damage in an accident. EP have designed a BMW crash protection system which includes heavy duty arms that wrap around the cylinder head, presenting a machined âsliderâ to protect the engine casing. The system mounts directly through the main engine bolts for a secure fit to help disperse any impact into the arms and slider plate. This BMW crash protection kit is manufactured in flat pack form for economic shipping and also allows individual components to be replaced. Heavy duty stainless steel bosses and through spindles provide mounting points for the arms. The arms and slider plates are manufactured from aircraft grade aluminium for a great strength to weight ratio. All of the aluminium parts are finished in a highly durable black powder coat.

BMW Headlight Guard
Evotech Performance have expanded their range of Headlight Guards to include the BMW R1200 GS. Solid aluminium brackets wrap around the headlight providing a solid mounting point for the headlight guard. The guard consists of a machined surround with the signature EP hexagonal perforations at the centre allowing maximum light penetration without compromising protection. EP have designed a quick release mounting system allowing the guard to be quickly removed to clean the headlight lens. BMWÂ Radiator and Air Intake Guards
Evotech Performance continue to produce some of the highest quality BMW radiator guards on the market. This design for the R1200 GS is no exception. EP R1200 GS Radiator guards fit perfectly behind the inner fairing panels, sitting just in front of the radiator. Using existing solid mounting points, there are no modifications required to your motorcycle ensuring a secure fit. The hexagonal matrix of holes on the radiator guard provides maximum protection to the radiator, without restricting air flow or cooling efficiency. EP BMW Air intake guards are designed with the same philosophies and techniques as our radiator guards. These beautifully curved guards reduce the amount of debris from entering the air intake ducts, sitting neatly into the mouth of the ducting.
