Evotech Performance have released a comprehensive range of products for the second incarnation of the 2014 Ducati Monster; the Monster 821. All of these motorcycle parts are finished to the exceptionally high standard that Evotech Performance have become well known for.
Crash Protection System
The great benefit of naked bikes is that you can see all of the engineering and design details, including the iconic Ducati trellis frame, that would otherwise be covered by a fairing. At the heart of the Evotech Performance crash protectors is a beautifully integrated mounting bracket that spans between the two main engine mounts, providing placement for the bobbin head (crash bung). The EP bracket is designed to subtly blend in with the lines of the bike whilst diverting any impact away from the trellis frame, reducing the force at any one point on the bike. Our EP crash protection system works together to reduce any damage incurred in the unfortunate event of an incident. The abrasion resistant, nylon bobbin head absorbs the initial impact, transferring forces evenly through the incredibly robust aluminium arm. The EP design team have used all of their experience to produce a system that will help to limit the damage to your Ducati.

Radiator Guard
Evotech Performance continue to produce some of the highest quality Ducati radiator guards on the market. This design for the Monster 821 is no exception. The curved radiator guard perfectly follows the contours of the radiator, fitting neatly onto the existing mounting points behind the radiator cheek panels. All EP Radiator Guards include our unique hexagonal matrix of holes, allowing for maximum airflow through the radiator whilst offering protection from road debris. Spindle and Paddock Stand Bobbins
Evotech Performance have been working on a new design of spindle bobbins (fork protectors) for a selected range of motorcycles. The Ducati Monster 821 is one such bike. The EP design team have come up with a two part construction ducati spindle bobbin system. A bike specific, aluminium base component fits neatly onto the wheel axles to provide a solid coupling for a nylon bobbin head. A stainless steel spindle clamps the whole system in place, whilst allowing the nylon bobbin head to rotate in the event of an impact. The system is machined to such a high tolerance that the bobbin heads will not freely rotate until a certain force is applied, a force that would be equal to a motorcycle sliding on the bobbin head.    Click here for Ducati Monster 821 Spindle Bobbin Fitting instructions
