EVOTECH PERFORMANCE SET FOR BUSY 2025
Evotech Performance is gearing up for what looks set to be its busiest year to date as the Lincolnshire motorcycle parts and accessories manufacturer continues to provide an unrivalled high precision engineering service to road bike riders and racing teams worldwide.
As the pioneering company heads into its 22nd year, directors Chris Vines and Dan Rack are laying the groundwork for an exciting 2025 with new developments in the pipeline and further expansion into the world of racing.
Renowned for its bespoke crash protection, radiator and cooler guards, exhaust hangers, tail tidies and camera mounts among many other accessories, Evotech Performance has become the go-to place for road bikers and racing teams alike, all looking to get their hands on the best, safest and most reliable parts on the market.
Evotech Performance was founded in 2003 by motorcycle enthusiast Chris, who was working at fabrication firm, Drury Precision Engineering, and was struggling to find the high quality bike parts he wanted. Very quickly, after designing and making tail tidy prototypes in Drury’s workshop, it was clear there was a big market and an opening out there for quality aftermarket motorcycle accessories and not just tail tidies.
Evotech Performance, which stands for Evolution in Technology, quickly established itself as an industry leader, as orders flew in from all over the world. And, technological advances over the next two decades brought exciting changes, as ultra-precise fabrication and engineering technologies Computerised Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) created a whole new landscape.
In 2017 Evotech added a 90m2 extension, adding a new power coating centre and was able to almost double productivity and then just five years later, decided even more space was needed and took over an adjacent factory unit.
This second premises is now home to the Evotech Distribution Centre and all the company’s flagship parts which make up the brand’s famous tail tides, radiator guards and crash protection.
It’s also the site of Evotech’s Product Design Centre, with its state-of-the-art 3D scanning and computer systems, hydraulic bike benches and tool stations.
Evotech fabricates accessories for each make, model and year of motorcycle, mostly CNC-machined from aircraft grade aluminium and given a durable powder-coated finish.
Long popular with road riders, Evotech Performance parts can now be found on machines of the successful teams in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, the World Superbike paddock and the international road racing scene.
Last year, Evotech-supported team OMG GRILLA Yamaha lifted the Bennetts British Superbike riders and teams crown with rider Kyle Ryde, while Honda Racing UK won the Supersport team and riders titles with Jack Kennedy.
And the success continued on the roads. In May, Hager PBM Ducati’s Glenn Irwin powered the team to three Superbike wins at the North West 200 before Davey Todd and Peter Hickman cleaned-up and Evotech-supported teams locked out most of the podiums at the Isle of Man TT. More success followed for Todd at season end, as he secured his second Pirelli National Superstock crown.
After such racing success last year, both Dan and Chris are confident they can continue the momentum into the 2025 season – and as they welcome a handful of new teams to the fold, it’s clear the word has spread.
“Our supported BSB and international road racing teams won just about everything they entered last year which was fantastic for us,” explained Dan. “It just reinforces the fact that our products are second to none and chosen by winners, which is why we’re thrilled to be welcoming even more racing teams to the fold this season.”
And away from the track, there’s also plenty to look forward to.
“We had a very strong 2024 in all aspects of the business and we’re looking forward to seeing what 2025 brings and how we can ensure we continue to lead the way.
“Evotech Performance is constantly looking at fresh ideas and blazing a trail for new products. Our range is constantly expanding and our design team is working hard on several exciting new projects, all with the aim of improving the riding – and racing – experience of our customers.”
