Racing to success
British Superbike (BSB) has a worldwide reputation for producing outstanding racing – the type of closely fought races that have spectators cheering, clapping and occasionally grimacing at the outcome of every race. Evotech Performance is actively involved within BSB by supporting key teams via development, fabrication and supply of race-specification parts; EP radiator and oil cooler guards through to handlebar lever protectors as well as unique chassis components.
BSB is a race series that features riders and machinery on par with World Superbikes; this UK championship has also seen many rising stars go on to make a name for themselves in WSB and MotoGP. Similarly, BSB is often a battleground for established factory riders to compete within on a new model in order to be a championship-winning combination.
Round 12 of Bennetts BSB 2019 was the final round of the BSB season and the action didn’t let up across the three races held under the title of Triple Header. Going into the last round held at Brands Hatch, Scott Redding (Be Wiser Ducati) and his Ducati Panigale V4 R held a slim lead over teammate Josh Brookes. Despite Brookes winning all three races, Redding claimed enough points from taking two third-place results and a second to secure the 2019 title.
Evotech Performance would like to take this opportunity to congratulate 26-year-old Scott Redding on his fantastic win as well as the rest of the hard-working people within the Ducati Be Wiser team.
We’d also like to thank everybody involved with BSB for making it the global spectacle it is – teams, track staff, BSB staff and, of course, the spectators. Our deep-hearted thanks, though, go out to all of the Evotech Performance supported teams (Be Wiser Ducati, Tyco BMW Motorrad, McAMS Yamaha, Smiths Racing BMW to name but a few) for again choosing our products, relying on our vast experience to fabricate vital components, giving precise feedback and also sharing the tears, laughter, success and mugs of tea that come with motorcycle racing.
