Is it worth fitting Evotech Engine Guard Protector to my DesertX?

For an off-road adventure bike such as the Ducati DesertX, engine protection is always a good idea. Defending the engine from damage caused by sticks, stones and other road debris, the lightweight aluminium EP Engine Guard Protector still allows cooling air to flow into the engine. With no modifications required to the machine, and online picture instructions to follow, the Evotech engine guard is easy to fit.

 

Note: This item does not work with the Ducati Frame Crash Bars.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days

Good quality stuff

Well machined and quality fit. This is the only company that makes this protector to fit with the original sump guard which in my opinion is good. ! Can save you some bucks on an expensive after market sump guard !

Quality looks and feels premium.
Did not mount it yet, one of the screws from the engine guard is almost broken and I will ask the dealer to mount it when I take my bike in for servicing.
