What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

EP Spindle Bobbins Kit for the Kawasaki Z650RS have been precision designed to fit the sides of each wheel, offering protection to the wheel spindles, lower front forks, brake calipers and rear swingarm. Effortlessly installed, the black bobbins are held in place by a rolled-thread spindle rod. The durable materials of injection-moulded nylon and aluminium are expected to be first to take impact should an incident occur, reducing expensive damage to the motorcycle.

Next day delivery

Easy to install

These look inconspicuous and we're very easy to fit. I did have to remove a split pin from the rear wheel nut but as these are bolted from both sides they will keep the wheel nut from vibrating loose. Excellent quality as always

Front - easy to fit.
Rear - unfortunately here is no bike specific instructions on line or sent with the units. I could not fit them without removing a factory fitted split pin which goes through the rear wheel centre hub and the locking nut. After speaking to Evotech they told me to remove the split pin, i decided on the side of caution and returned the rear protectors for a refund.
