Evotech Triumph Street Triple R Tail Tidy (2020-2022)
As soon as you start unwrapping it the high quality of the components is immediately apparent. Fitting it well is not a five minute job. Small things that irked me are the very small Nylock nuts to fit the very neat replacement number plate light can only be tightened one flat at a time, I used a 7mm spanner but I guess they are imperial ¼”. Having to re-use the OE loom that runs down the “tail stalk” means you have a lot of wiring to tidy away. All of this can be carefully stowed under the plastic “floor” of the tail compartment by removing the single fixing at the rear and bending the rear edge of the “floor” up in order to tuck the wiring into the recesses, mainly on either side. Before tidying up the wiring ensure that you have the indicators properly connected. When connecting pairs of wires to others I put black to black (ground) and assumed everything else was +ve. Verdict, brilliant, cries out for a smaller than standard UK registration plate.
Well made product, needs a bit more time than it was planned but overall all good.
Fits well, looks good. Only one annoying part was a pretty hight cost of duty for Czech Republic.
