What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Mounted through the rear wheel spindle and swing arm, the nylon bobbins and aluminium support of EP Rear Spindle Bobbins for the Triumph Trident offer secure crash protection. The bobbins project from both sides of the wheel, intending to take impact first, should an incident occur to, reduce expensive damage. The innovative design by Evotech Performance allows the nylon bobbins to rotate above the aluminium core which can reduce stress and wear placed on the wheel.

Delivery

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

Matches the bike well, and looks good. Simple install, just make sure you match the hardware to corresponding side of the axle

Looks good!

Fitted to the rear axle of a Triumph Trident 660. The rear spindle bobbin looks great, good quality materials and fairly discrete logo. The bolt length in my view is spot on, enough to thread the nuts onto and a little bit more for good measure.

Good but .....

The maim bolt that goes through the axle is just slightly too long and 3 or 4 threads stick out further than the bobbin. Will still offer protection. There may be sparks. Looks great and would buy again. Super quick delivery. Thanks.
