What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Evotech Performance have developed Evotech Spindle Bobbins to guard the front fork lowers, brake calipers and rear cardan drive shaft. Fitting neatly through the front wheel of the BMW R 1250 RS, the front protection is mounted via a supplied stainless steel spindle with rolled threads and all fasteners included. At the rear wheel, the innovative drive shaft protection is simple to install: grease, insert and tighten. The wheel’s offside is completed by a precision machined and coated aluminium hub stop. The nylon bobbins all hold an aluminium core to offer hard-wearing protection, reducing expensive damage to your motorcycle should the unfortunate occur.

I have 3 motorcycles 2 Ducatis and a BMW - I have fitted them with Evotech Spindle Bobbins, radiator and engine guards. I have to say the product quality is the best I have come across. The fit is perfect the finish is excellent and the instructions for fitment perfect.

Easy to fit and good looking. Not sure of the strength of the rear one to hold itself in the hub in the event of a fall but plan not to find out. Delivery was fast and well packaged.
