Why should I fit an EP Brake Lever Protector Kit?
Great for race days or road journeys, Evotech’s Brake Lever Protector Kit for the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE is designed to prevent accidental application of the brakes. In fact, brake lever guards are often a requirement for many race tracks or track days. EP Brake Protector Kits come with the further benefit of an innovative mounting system incorporating bike-specific bar end weights. EP’s larger Road option is fabricated from stainless steel to help combat high frequency vibrations that can impact a rider’s hands.
Note: When fitting Evotech Bar End Weights and Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kits, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Weights and EP Brake Lever Protector Kits are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
Note: This item can not be installed with the OEM handguards fitted.
