Is it worth fitting Evotech Engine Guard Protector to my DesertX Rally?

For an off-road adventure bike such as the Ducati DesertX Rally, engine protection is always a good idea. Defending the engine from damage caused by sticks, stones and other road debris, the lightweight aluminium EP Engine Guard Protector still allows cooling air to flow into the engine. With no modifications required to the machine, and online picture instructions to follow, the Evotech engine guard is easy to fit.

 

Note: This item does not work with the Ducati Frame Crash Bars.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days

As advertised

Pairs nicely with the radiator guard, easy to fit. Comes in two parts the grill and the guard frame which are joined together first before fitting. On road off road should protect the area below the radiator from any dings. Thank you Evotech :-)

Solid protection

Bought the Engine Guard for my DX Rally noting the vulnerability between the rad guard and carbon skid plate. It’s light but solid, fits perfectly, and gives a really integrated look that matches the surrounding guards. Well impressed!
