I have already purchased the Evotech Garmin sat nav bracket for my Tiger 900 GT Pro and had no hesitation in purchasing the new Garmin sat nav bracket for my new 2025 Yamaha Tracer 7. The instructional video that you can watch via the Evotech web page is very easy to understand, however, in my opinion it should be updated in regard to removing the rubber grommet plugs and inserting the longer Evotech rubber grommets. I managed to rip one of my original grommets apart trying to pull it out from the plastic screen holder. The remedy for this is to use a little GT-85 spray on the rubber grommets, and twist them while still in place to make sure that they are completely coated with lubricant. Then insert one of the original screws a fair way into the rubber grommet, and pull on the **** and the rubber grommet at the same time for easy removal. When fitting the longer Evotech rubber grommets do the same thing. Spray them with GT-85 and **** in one of the screws a fair way and push on the **** and the rubber together to fit snugly into place.. Wipe away any excess lubricant before fitting the screen. All good and no other issues.
