The quality of materials is excellent and installation is super easy but unfortunately due to the design of the Ducati screen it means the gps device bounces quite alot. With the screen in the highest position it bounces to the point of not being useful. In the low position it's much better but still bounces. The location is perfect for viewing and doesn't obscure the bikes display at all. Packaging is all paper & cardboard with clear instructions available to download if required.
Knowing what I know now and knowing the OEM gps bracket uses the same screen part to mount theirs, would I buy the Evotech mount, yes I would. Just a shame there's no other more rigid mount inside the screen area.
If you want a solid none moving mount use the handle bar mount otherwise this is a good bracket with a perfect viewing location albeit a bit bounces.
Got the Engine guard and the Garmin compatible sat nav mount for my 22 Multistrada V2S. Both fit beautifully and I´m very pleased with them. Easy to install. Excellent service. Highly recommend Evotech Performance.
Just installed this on my 2023 Ducati V2S so I can use my new Garmin zümo XT. Overseas shipping was fast, and top marks for the packaging – It's all cardboard and paper; not a scrap of plastic anywhere. Instructions must be downloaded from the Evotech website, but they're pretty clear. No text, all pictures. I had to file off a tiny bit of plastic flash before the bracket would slip into place, but that only took a couple of seconds. Garmin GPS cradle fit perfectly, and I like how the angle can be adjusted with easy thumbscrews instead of having to break out the Allen wrench.
ONE BIG NOTE: Since this bracket attaches to the windscreen mount, your GPS will go up and down as you adjust the windscreen, so be sure to leave enough slack in the power cable.
Now that I've had a chance to ride with it, I really like it! The GPS screen is clear and easy to read when you're on smooth pavement, but it will bounce around if you're in the rough stuff. Your Garmin is now at the end of a long arm, so it doesn't take much to start shaking. But it settles down as soon as the road does. Nice mount!
