Why should I add Evotech Lever Protectors (Race) to my handlebars?
Lever protectors originate from motorcycle racing, designed to prevent accidental application of the brake and clutch systems. However, it is not just on the racetrack that they prove their usefulness. Unwelcome incidents could be avoided when the motorcycle levers are protected by the Evotech Brake and Clutch Lever Protector Kit for the Yamaha XSR900. Machined from a single piece of aluminium, the robust lever guards are powder-coated for additional durability. The motorcycle parts are then added to the handlebars, once the OEM mirrors have been removed, using Evotech’s model-specific design and stainless steel race-sized weights.
Note: The original Yamaha Bar End Mirrors must be removed before fitting Evotech Brake and Clutch Lever Protector Kit to the Yamaha XSR900.
Note: When fitting Evotech Brake and Clutch Lever Protector Kit, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycles throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Brake and Clutch Lever Protectors are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
