Although there are lower priced tail tidy kits available, the Evotech kit has good reviews and appears to be the preferred item by the majority of motorcycle owners.
I ordered my tail tidy direct from Evotech and it arrived well packaged in a cardboard box within a few days.
All of the necessary fasteners and fittings are supplied in recyclable brown paper bags. Detailed installation instructions are available online and can be saved to a pc, portable device or printed (80 pages). Illustrations are very detailed, but the connector colours to the rear left and right indicators are not highlighted when you come to reassemble parts. This would be useful if owners do not take note that the rear right indicator has the blue plug.
The majority of time taken for my model bike is the removal of plastic trim from the motorcycle. This is when the detailed instruction show how to remove parts without accidentally breaking plastic lugs and clips etc. Cables are kept tidy by the use of P clips and tie wraps.
The tail tidy itself is manufactured from 5mm thick aluminium alloy and coated in a tough Matt black finish. The sides of the bracket have machined pockets that match the frame of the motorcycle. The tail tidy is not a thin flimsy folded piece of aluminium sheet metal. I would recommend the kit to any motorcyclist wishing to tidy the rear end appearance of their motorcycle.
The installed tail tidy has the look of a good quality, well design product.
Ever since I bought my CB650R last year, I have looked at countless reviews and videos but I always hesitated to get a tail tidy just to make sure I got the right one. Then I saw my cousin's motorcycle, he also has a CB650R fitted with an Evotech tail tidy and I thought it looked perfect. I had to wait a couple of weeks to order because it was out of stock, but once I ordered it was shipped immediately and all was delivered in about a week's time. Installation process was relatively easy, took me about an hour or so, and I also replaced the back light with a smoked one when I had everything disassembled. Now the back is incredibly clean, it never looked that good looking!

The obly negative on the product i noticed when mounting, the paint is very «thin» so a small tiny scratch removes everything down to the metall..
Delivery is fast to Norway, only thing that took time where the VAT/Taxes needes to be paid to Norwegian goverment(waited 2-3weeks for the product to get in my hands…), i thought maybe this was paid on the site her..
