What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?
Using Evotech Performance's experience and innovative design, EP Rear Spindle Bobbins for the Kawasaki Z650RS offer robust protection for your motorcycle. The nylon bobbin head is strengthened by an aluminium inner, and held in place using a stainless steel through-rod. Should an incident occur, the bobbin is expected to take impact first and should rotate to reduce stress and minimise damage on the rear wheel.

Delivery

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days

Next day delivery

Cotter pin removal

Product is perfect but on a Kawasaki you do need to remove the cotter pin from the axle bolt to allow the spindle to pass through the axle. Difficult to know whether this is a safe idea or not and whether the bobbins themselves provide sufficient additional security to stop the bolt ever loosening. Some advice on this would be useful in the instructions.
