What is the reason for fitting an EP Radiator Guard?

The radiator guard protects the KTM 790 Duke radiator from damage by road debris, while at the same time allowing all-important cooling air to pass through. The radiator’s cooling fins easily bend, and bent fins can restrict cooling air, which can lead to overheating. The radiator’s internal coolant-carrying core is also prone to being holed by stones - usually picked up by the front tyre and flung directly into this expensive component. Leaking coolant can make the motorcycle inoperable because of overheating, which, in turn, can lead to engine damage. Coolant can also leak onto the tyres to cause loss of grip.

Quality radiator guard

Very pleased with the radiator guard. Dropped a star as found the bolts provided with it are very soft/ poor quality in comparison. Sorted though very quickly by Evotech. Would recommend.

Well made and finished. I've only had it on my KTM for a few weeks but I'm sure the finish will stand the test of time. Good fit and easy to follow instructions. Not cheap but if you want quality you have to pay for it

Nice addition

The radiator guard fitted perfectly with no problems at all. The wrap around the radiator compliments the look of the bike brilliantly compared with other guards I have seen. The quality and finish of this product is first class, I am completely happy with my purchase.
