Why should I choose EP’s Race Bar End Weights?

Motorcycle handlebar ends are susceptible to knocks and scrapes during regular use.  When it is time for a replacement, EP Bar End Weights (Race) for the Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel make a desirable choice. Produced in the UK from stainless steel and with a durable powder-coating, the EP Race bar weights are a similar weight to the Moto Guzzi originals, retaining the control of handlebar vibrations. The Race option is the smallest of the handlebar weights on offer, streamlined for track days and shorter rides.

 

Note: When fitting EP Bar End Weights and EP Brake Lever Protector Kits, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Weights and EP Brake Lever Protector Kits are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)

  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)

Shorter than in the picture

I was a little surprised that the thread length on the parts supplied is substantially shorter than as shown in the photo on the website. They are about 15mm long from the shoulder to the end. Presumably this is what they should be and the photo is just incorrect or ?.
