Are EP Radiator Guard really necessary?

Most definitely yes. EP radiator guard protect the Moto Guzzi V100 radiator from road debris damage while allowing cooling air to pass through. The cooler unit consist of delicate cooling fins and internal cores - the fins easily bend and block the passage of air, which can lead to the engine overheating. Also, the internal cores can be holed by stones as a result of being picked up and flung directly into the radiator from the bike's front tyre, or by other traffic. And leaking, slippery coolant on tyres can cause loss of grip.

V100 Mandello guard came superbly packed and oozed quality. The guard itself is off very high quality not the cheapest but we'll worth the extra for the excellent fit and finish of the product. Highly recommend.

Arrived well packaged, part quality is very good and fitted perfectly with all the necessary spacers and rubber dampers to give a great overall finish.

Perfect fit and finish

Very easy to install radiator guard, lines up with single fixing bolt at the top when you compress the lower rubbers a little. Very nicely finished but a little expensive I felt for a simple metal guard but it is good quality and will protect the entire previously exposed radiator.
