What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Projecting from the driveline side of the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S, the nylon bobbin head and aluminium centralising spacer protects the rear of the Cardan drive shaft casing, hub and wheel. Made from injection-moulded nylon, the bobbin head sits upon an aluminium centralising spacer and rotates with the wheel to minimise impact damage on one area and reduce stress on the wheel. A machined and coated aluminium hub stop on the non-drive side complements the V100's stylish design.

    Superb bit of kit

    My Guzzi is the second bike I've put Evo tech kit on. Brilliant quality, easy to fit and does what it should do. I've already fitted the engine and rad guards and will be ordering the quad lock mount when I have some spare cash. It's a shame ET don't do a side stand footpad cause I need one of those to!

    I have purchases 3 items from Evotech over the last month . A radiator guard, sump guard and rear bobbin. All 3 items were delivered when promised, packed really well in environmentally friendly packaging , Excellent quality parts, all fitted perfectly . No issues with this company at all.     Moto Guzzi V100 S rear spindle bobbins

    Ordered at the same time as the radiator guard and front spindle bobbins. Arrived in a few days and nicely packaged.
    Very well made and fits the rear drive nice and snug. The 3 sealing rings should mean no water makes it into the rear drive spindle.
    Looks great on the bike, but a suggestion would be to offer the anodised cap in bike specific colours, e.g Black, Red, Green and White.
    Very pleased overall though.
