Description

Evotech's savvy design means our guards are secured in place using original mounting points on the bike. No cable ties in sight.

This is down to the advanced design by people who understand the concept of function, ease of fitting and aesthetics.

The elegantly designed matrix is pierced with hexagonal holes to optimise airflow whilst providing maximum protection from road debris.

The BMW M 1000 R guards boast remarkable strength to weight ratio, with a combined weight of 420 grammes.

Easy to follow Instructions and fixings are supplied with every radiator guard.

As only the best will do for BMW M 1000 R riders, the guard is CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium.

The BMW M 1000 R guards are finished in durable black powder coating.

Delivery

UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days

Next day delivery

Necessary protection

Well made and precise fit. Several hours to install but downloaded step by step instructions are good. This seems like necessary protection for rad and oil cooler. Disappointing that BMW leaves fragile bits dangerously exposed to road damage on this premium bike

Excellent fit and finish

Like all EP products the fit and finish is always excellent, and the quality is solid. I bought them with the hope the extra weight would help with the handlebar vibrations but unfortunately made the vibrations slightly worse, but looked smart when fitted.

Good quality - but does not quite fit

Purchased for my 2023 v4 Factory and had a bit of a nightmare fitting.

The instructions online are pretty much useless - not clear in slightest.

The guard itself, whilst seemingly good quality, does not quite fit. The issue is with the alignment holes on the top of the rad. The associated holes in the guard do not quite align and without drilling the guard holes to make them slightly larger, will not fit.

Furthermore, fitting requires removing a fair amount of the bike: fairings, coolant expansion tank, horn and some internals.

In summary, whilst the quality seems ok - the fitting is far from simple and the guard requires modifying to fit

High quality, easy fitment

I can just about fill the tank, that’s my level of technical competence. Think child and Lego levels of ability. But, these are so so easy to put together and fit. At best a 10 minute job. The video instructions are clear and make the fitment simple as. And of course the quality and design is the usual high you’d expect from Evotech. I come back time and again for accessories from them, this is again a good example of why.
