Is an EP radiator guard really necessary?

Most definitely, 100% yes. An Evotech radiator guard set protects the large Aprilia Tuono V4 radiator from damage caused by road debris, while allowing cooling air to pass through. The Aprilia radiator consists of delicate cooling fins and internal cores - these fins easily bend and block the passage of air, which can lead to the engine overheating. Also, the internal cores can be holed by debris, such as a stone. This is usually the result of debris being picked up by the bike's front tyre and flung directly into the radiator. Not only will this lead to engine overheating but slippery coolant on tyres can cause loss of grip.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days

Next day delivery

Nice construction except for the 3D printed clip

The fit and finish of this radiator and oil cooler guard was beautiful. The packaging of the parts was top notch.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is the lower plastic clip is 3D printed rather than being a molded plastic part. The 3D printed clip had a defect as almost every FDM 3D printed part does. The defect did not render the clip non functional but it shows a departure from the high quality I expect from evotech at evotech prices.
