What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Evotech Performance recommends you protect the front end of the Thruxton RS with EP Front Spindle Bobbins.   Held through the wheel using a rolled-thread spindle, the nylon outer and aluminium inner should receive impact first in the unlikely event of a crash.   With EP's innovative design, the nylon bobbin head can move on impact to decrease any stress on the wheel.

Delivery

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
  • Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

2025 Triumph Thruxton FE Front Spindle Bobbins

Another awesome product! High quality construction with tough nylon bobbins protection the lower front Showa USD Big Piston Forks. Super-easy installation. Again, begs the question as to why Triumph didn't just equip this motorcycle with a similar product straight from the factory. Regardless of that gripe, Evotech gladly filled the void with their own patented design, high quality offering. If you own a Triumph model that aligns with Evotech's fitment list, do yourself a favor and buy this. The price, even with exchange to your local currency, is a significantly better deal than Triumph's offering price. And I cannot imagine the factory's build standards are superior to those used by Evotech. Stop reading my review and buy it now!
