Why should I switch to an Evotech Tail Tidy on my BMW R 1250 R Exclusive?

Following the sleek lines of the BMW R 1250 R Exclusive motorcycle, the Evotech Tail Tidy replaces the long rear fender for a shorter, cleaner rear licence plate display. With a custom design that guarantees an accurate fit to the rear, the EP tail tidy is suppled with an additional bracket to be used dependent on whether motorcycle panniers are fitted. Crafted from aircraft grade aluminium with Evotech’s durable yet discreet powder-coating and a vacuum formed undertray, the EP part gives a sleek, factory-style finish.

 

Note: The Evotech Tail Tidy can be fitted to the BMR R 1250 R with or without the BMW panniers. We have supplied a choice of bracket to be used dependent if panniers are used or not.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
  • Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

Faultless from start to finish

Interaction started via a quick email to ensure correct ‘version’ of the tailtidy would be ordered. Email responded to quickly and with a response that provided confidence to go ahead with my choice and purchase.
Ordering online was easy and order tracking was available via the Shop app. A very transparent process.
Delivery was quick and ahead of the forecast timeline.
The packaging of the product was excellent. Robust cardboard box with inner packaging to prevent any damage (scratches) whilst in transit.
My product came with a choice (panniers fit vs no panniers) of covers and tail pieces. Excellent! No adaptations to fitting method required.
The product itself, wow! Top quality materials. Robust, well engineered and clearly made to last the tests of time.
The downloaded fitting instructions are idiot proof - and I’m the idiot that proved them! Page by page clear illustrations and annotations to make removing the OEM product and refitting the Evotech Performance product as simple as it could be. All the parts required included in the package.
My only gripe, from someone who is slightly visually impaired, some of the illustrations and annotations on the downloaded print outs were a little on the SMALL side and it was a glasses and squint job to see.
OVERALL, faultless from start to finish. Love the end result. Great product. Would definitely use Evotech Performance again. Highly recommend.
