Excellent design, quality product easy(ish) to fit.
Everything about this product is top quality and it looks factory fitted on the bike and much tidier that the original crash bar. Take your time with the install and you will be very happy with the end result, a couple of points to note though. This kit utilises the OE rear indicators and number plate light, in my opinion a good thing as these look the part and suit the bike. The install is not plug & play however as you will need to extend the connector links for all three. You could run a new extension cable from the re-routed loom now under the seat to below the tidy and connect to the original lamp wiring but this would mean an ugly connector block being hung under the tidy and somehow supported and waterproofed. I considered it but trust me it would look ****. If you have some electrical skill, cut and extend the original connectors for indicators and number plate lamp to run through the tidy and up under the seat. I did this and was able to re-use the original connector block to connect to the bike loom in the space next to the seat locking pin. Looks super neat and well worth the extra time. Will be a pain if one of the lamps go pop in the future but they are LED and I am a spark so not bothered. You will need a 12.5mm drill as well.
The parts look very good an robust. Hope I get through the installation. The manual has 100 pages!
Great product. Very well made and doesn’t look out of place even on high end machines. Suggest the try and create a little more wiring clearance between panels (not much) and for Triumph 660 in particular, you should state the blinker and license plate light wiring need to be extended in order to complete installation. I will not allow those two small criticisms keeping this product from a five star review. Well made!! Well done!!
Pondered for a fair while on both types of tail tidy from Evotech and opted for this one. It's the right one for me, keeps the original Triumph tail light, indicators and number plate light with embossed triumph logo, it's subtle but looks nice. The number plate also hangs slightly lower than the other design, (which is also more than twice the price) and complements the lines of the bike better imo. I wasn't keen on the protruding slightly bulbous tail light with the other design either. The engineering is first class with this tidy, a bit fiddly to fit maybe but the result is perfect, it's solid and looks feels like it was always part of the bike. Great job Evotech..
