Will fitting Evotech Crash Protection require me to modify my motorcycle?

When designing crash protection for any motorcycle, Evotech Performance have a simple mantra: no modifications or alterations. Precision designed to securely attach to the motorcycle’s main framework, the EP Crash Protection bobbins for the Suzuki GSX-8R extend at a position that does not impact the fairing or rider position, aiming to protect the motorcycle in the unlikely event of a spill. Should an incident occur, Evotech crash bungs can be purchased separately if required.

Delivery

UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
- Europe – 6-8 working days
- Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country.

Next day delivery

Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

Perfect fit - easy to mount on a Triumph Tiger sport 660 (2025)

Fast shipping to Norway. Easy to install and perfect fit on my Triumph Tiger Sport 660 (2025). I use a Garmin Zumo xt2.

Quality kit

As usual this radiator guard is another quality piece of kit from Evotech. It’s the 6th purchase I have made for one of my bikes and it’s the second radiator guard. Really well made, very easy to install with simple instructions, extremely well packaged and arrived in double quick time. Highly recommended.

Not Evotech usual high standards

Having bought a lot of Evotech parts, I’m disappointed with this tail tidy. For the small parts you get it’s not worth the money and actually feels cheap. Other parts I’ve had are heavy and substantial, but this feels very cheap like it’s easy to break. Also one of the small screws actually stripped the aluminium thread it was supposed to go into, luckily it’s not structural and can still be used. The instructions have not been updated to the 2025 bike as the wiring is very different and actually has a connector now where the tail tidy meets the bike. It has to be squashed to get it to fit flat. Although it looks good now it’s fitted, it was difficult to fit and had I known what I know now I would not have bought this item.
