Is an EP Rectifier Guard necessary?

Protection for any vulnerable motorcycle component should be considered because it can prove to be cost effective - replacement of broken parts is, as we know, expensive. By being positioned in the open air, the Bonneville rectifier is open to being hit with stones and other road debris - and not just airborne insects. Rectifiers are nigh on impossible to repair so protection is paramount - and that's just what the EP Rectifier Guard does- with a hefty dose of style to boot.

Delivery

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

Good product but unfortunately the bolts were to short for my bike (2014 Thruxton) so sourced som...

Good product but unfortunately the bolts were to short for my bike (2014 Thruxton) so sourced some 55mm long bolts which worked fine. A choice of bolts may be an option if they vary across years and/or models

The part looks great and is high quality.

The part looks great and is high quality. Installation, however, could be smoother. It is supposed to be installed using 2 cylinders to separate it from the rectifier that are supplied, together with 2 long screws to go through them. However, either the cylinders are too long or the screws too short, but the pair doesn't fit. I ended up fitting it nicely after sawing 2 mm out of the cylinders (could also have bought longer screws). This issue is too silly to be allowed to occur.
