Why fit an EP Rectifier Guard?

A motorcycle rectifier converts generated AC electrical current to DC current and supplies a regulated DC voltage to the battery. This means the rectifier generates heat and is positioned to enable open or passing air to cool it. Unfortunately, the rectifier's positioning means it is vulnerable to being damaged by road debris (stones, grit etc). The EP Rectifier Guard protects the rectifier from stones, while maintaining airflow to prevent the rectifier from overheating. Let's not forget the EP Rectifier Guard is designed to be stylish as well as functional and enhances the Triumph Street Twin's retro looks.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

1200RR rectifier Guard

Excellent quality and fit. Be aware the nuts it bolts into are not captive on the bike and you'll lose them in the wiring etc if you dont have the seat off etc when fitting the guard

Didn't even think of this

My bike is dripping in all things Evotech because I love it and it cost me decent money so I'll do whatever is needed to protect it. It never even occurred to me that I'd need a rectifier guard until using some sticky rubber and flicking stones showed me my mistake.

Good product, bad instructions

Normal excellent product quality from evotech, however the instructions are incorrect. What should be a 10 minute job turned in to 3 hours of swearing! This would be a lot easier if the bolts were captive. Good luck!

Looks great.

Looks great but the instructions are not as they say. It's a pain in the backside to fit and the seat has to come off to get to two nuts at the top of the bolts. Looks great when eventually fitted though. People on forums who had bought it asked how I managed to sort it.
