What are the benefits of installing EP’s Touring option Bar End Weights?

Evotech Bar End Weights offer high quality replacement handlebar weights for the Triumph Tiger Sport 800. Precisely engineered from stainless steel, the design of EP’s durable weights is heavier than Triumph’s original bar ends. The additional weight helps to reduce high-frequency chassis vibrations which can be transferred into the rider’s hands. The Touring option weights are the heavier of the two handlebar weight styles made by Evotech Performance, a larger design for longer rides or commuting, plus the bike-specific design is quick and easy to install.

 

Note: When fitting Evotech Bar End Weights, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Weights are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)

Touring bar end weights

Five minutes to fit and as usually excellent fit and finish. I would say however that I couldn't fit the inner weight sleeves on each side, as I have the factory hand guards and they wouldn't fit. I imagine there is enough weight without them to make a big difference though. 😃👍

Touring Bar End Weights

Excellent quality, precision machined. Nice & heavy weighted bar ends.
They fit as expected, and calm the high frequency buzz down considerably, though not eliminating it.
The Tiger Sport 800 has handlebar vibes just about 6,000 RPM, not annoying, just noticeable when cruising in that range.
These weights handle most of the vibes.

Curbs the Vibes

Very nice, heavy bar ends to replace the puny stock ones that came on my Tiger Sport 800. They came nicely packaged, were easy to install and reduced the vibrations felt through the handlebars.
