What are Evotech Crash Bobbins?

Easily fitted using pre-existing insertion points, the Evotech Crash Protection Bobbins for the Yamaha MT-09 protrude from each side of the motorcycle’s chassis to guard against accidental damage. Intended to receive impact first, should an incident occur, the hard-wearing Evotech bobbins are strengthened by an aluminium core. For an accurate fit, the left and right hand bobbins have individual designs with all required parts and fastenings included in the kit.

I purchased these from the 2023 MT-09 as the new 24 MT-09 products weren’t out and hoping they would fit knowing Yamaha never changed the chassis.
Perfect fit, easy to install but the instructions aren’t the easiest to follow, something Evotech could look into for all its products?
The crash bobbins suits the bike and really don’t look out of place like some others do.
