Dear Wholesale Customer,

We would like to inform you of a major change in our system, which primarily affects dealers. We are transitioning to Shopify's 'B2B' platform, specifically designed for wholesale customers. This change will allow us to provide a better experience for customers like you.

There will be some significant changes to how you interact with our website, which are detailed below and also explained in the video above:

1. New Account System:

We will be switching to Shopify's new integrated account system. This means that when signing in, no password will be required. Instead, you will need to enter a 6-digit code sent to your email when logging in. This also comes with new features, including a new account page where you can easily view previous orders to track fulfillment and shipping.

2. Companies:

We will be converting all trade accounts to be part of a 'company' within our website. These companies can have multiple accounts, some with admin privileges and some set to ordering only. This will allow members of your staff to order for the company without needing to log in using an email address they do not have access to. You will need to contact us to get accounts added to the company and everything set up. We expect to be fairly busy with these requests, so please be patient during the initial setup stages.

3. Discounts:

With the arrival of this new system, we will be revising the discount structure for wholesale customers. The discount will no longer be tiered based on the total amount of an order but instead on the amount spent by the customer over the last 12 months. The discount will now be tiered into four categories: 20%, 25%, 30%, and 35%. 20% will be the base rate, and then after £3000 in annual sales the tier will be 25%. After £20,000 annual sales, the discount level will be 30%, and finally the 35% tier is achieved with sales over £60,000. (Please note, these values are calculated after discount and excluding tax and shipping.) Customers will be assigned to one of these categories after a review of sales, and they will then receive that discount level for all orders, regardless of size. Reviews will be conducted every 6 months where wholesale customers can move up or down the discount tiers based on their rolling 12 months of sales.
