What are Evotech Crash Bobbins?

Easily fitted using pre-existing insertion points, the Evotech Crash Protection Bobbins for the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX are fitted to existing mounting points on each side of the motorcycle’s chassis to guard against accidental damage. Intended to receive impact first, should an incident occur, the hard-wearing Evotech bobbins are reinforced with an aluminium core. For an accurate fit, the left and right hand bobbins have individual designs with all required parts and fastenings included in the kit.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
  • Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

Quality and great delivery

Crash bobbins I hope I will never need to rely on. This said, a quality product that was straightforward to fit with the online instructions. They are a quality item and do not detract from the look of the motorcycle.

Great Investment

Had these on my Z500 and they save my tibia when a cager hit me front-left, so I've put them on my Striple.
Long one on the the nearside and short one on the offside.
As other reviewers have said, undo the single bolt on the rectangular retention bracket just below the radiator, so you can swing the bottom of the rad out for easier access.

These crash bobbins are very well-made and look great on the bike when installed. A tip for installation: Disconnect the bottom radiator bracket and swing the radiator forward to increase clearance for your wrench.
