Can't praise this paddock stand enough. The shape spreads the weight of the bike very well which makes lifting so much easier. It's pretty heavy and solid with top quality components. One criticism, the assembly instructions didn't reference the actual kit I had, but took 2 minutes to download the right ones from their web page. I only paid £66 for the paddock stand which was exceptional value for money.. Well done Oxford!
Great products at great prices
I had a pair of risers on my old 1250, GSA, my 1300 came without any. On my first decent ride of 160 miles my forearms ached from the bars being too low, I bought the EvoTech risers before riding to southern Spain and even after a 650km day no aches from my arms, so delighted with them and they are nicely made too. The packaging is neat as well, no plastic.
Haven’t tested them yet, hopefully I never do. But they look great and appear to be excellent quality. Installation took 5 minutes. Use a torque wrench.
The mirror extenders are very well made but I feel the design could be improved. This is because the OE mirrors on my 2019 Tiger XRT have a LH thread on the stalk which screws into a spacer with an internal LH thread on the top and an external RH thread on the bottom which then screws onto the bike. Unfortunately the thread to accept the mirror stalk in the extender is RH so it was necessary to **** the spacer into the top of the extender and **** the mirror into that and I feel it would have been better if the OE spacer didn't have to be used. This would have necessitated a LH threaded hole in the extender. Another thing I found was it was necessary to angle the extenders forwards slightly (resulting in a reduction in potential extension) in order to access all of the handlebar switches. Notwithstanding these comments the extenders do work and give a reasonable amount of extension. If it wasn't for the previously mentioned I would definitely have given 5 stars.
