What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Projecting from the driveline side of the R 1200 RT, the nylon bobbin head and aluminium centralising spacer shields the rear of the Cardan drive shaft casing, hub and wheel. Made from injection-moulded nylon, the bobbin head sits upon an aluminium centralising spacer and rotates with the wheel to minimise impact damage on one area and reduce stress on the wheel. A machined and texture-coated aluminium hub stop on the non-drive side complements the motorbike's stylish design.

Well engineered quality item

I spent longer cleaning the **** than I did fitting the bobbin.

Work a treat

’ve always preferred short levers, so fitting these to my 2018 Street Triple 765 RS was an easy decision. The quality is immediately obvious – they’re beautifully machined, feel solid, and the anodised finish looks superb.

Installation only took a few minutes with basic tools and everything fitted perfectly with no adjustments or modifications needed. The reach adjustment is positive and easy to use, making it simple to find a comfortable position, especially if you have smaller hands.

On the road they offer excellent feel and control, particularly when covering the brake with two fingers. They also give the bike a cleaner, more premium look than the standard levers.

They’re not the cheapest option on the market, but the quality, fit and finish justify the price. I’m very pleased with the purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their Street Triple.

Rocket 3 Tail Tidy

A well manufactured and well engineered product made with top quality materials.
The kit contains everything you need and the drilling template certainly makes things easier.
My bike now looks superb and it makes you wonder why Triumph didn’t do this in the first place !
My only gripe is the instructions, I found them difficult to read and unclear at times and some phases seem to be missing.
A video would be much better.
Don’t let this put you off though, it is a great product.

Just received the Evotech beeline Moto 2 mount for my Ducati supersport. Well packed, beautifully made item. Only downside 0 manual. Was easy to figure out, but will be great to have.
