Do I need an Evotech Tank Extender?
Originally developed at the request of race teams hoping to create a more aerodynamic riding position, improve control and increase comfort, the Evotech Race Fuel Tank Pad for the Honda CBR1000RR-R moves the rider’s seating position 38mm further back. The increased fuel tank surface makes the motorcycle easier to grip whilst also helping to reduce rider fatigue. The supplied VELCRO® provides a secure hold, while allowing the tank extender pads to be removed quickly for motorcycle maintenance and cleaning. Enhancing the race-inspired appearance of the Honda motorcycle, Evotech Tank Pads are available in a range of thicknesses to suit riders of different sizes.
