Why is a motorcycle radiator guard necessary?

The Evotech radiator guard helps protect the Honda CB1000 Hornet radiator from road debris damage; damage that occurs when stones are picked up and thrown by the front tyre or other traffic. The radiator is predominantly made up of delicate cooling fins that easily bend plus the cooler's internal core of pipework can be damaged beyond safe repair. 

Manufactured from aluminium with a durable powder-coating, the EP rad guard has a hexagonal matrix of holes allowing consistent air flow to the radiator whilst offering a strong defence. For the finishing touch, replacement Evotech T-Shape badges can be purchased to personalise the EP protective part’s styling.

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. Next day delivery

This is a awesome product, easy to fit with great instructions. Would be 5 stars but I prefer the way evotech used to press the EP into the guard itself.

Hornet 1000 sp evotech radiator guard.

Went for the evotech radiator guard delivered swiftly and really well packaged.Looked at fitting video and found it really easy to fit even for someone with my mechanical skills! The guard is very good quality and looks good really pleased with it - better looking than Honda option half the price and better protection.
