What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Attached through the wheel spindles of the Ducati Multistrada V4 S, EP Spindle Bobbins offer crash protection to the wheel spindle retainers, brake calipers, lower forks and swingarm. Spindle bobbins of black injection-moulded nylon sit either side of the wheel intending to be first to receive impact should an unlikely incident occur. The bobbins sit upon an aluminium inner, which adds strength, whilst the bobbins are still able to move with impact to reduce stress and wear.

No instructions

Very nice packaging and quality spindles but no instructions to easily identify which way round to fit as the axel fittings seem to be handed, it might be obvious how to fit but no instructions at all ??? No torque settings for the nuts ? What advice on fitting eg to seal either a little grease or not or ACF 50 the parts / inside of axel before fitting ?? come on Evotech you can do better surely . Having said that easy shopping, good delivery and quality packing

Fit well and look OK too.

Easy to fit to the bike, however, unsure if they will perform as well as another very well known brand that up until now, I've always fitted to my bikes. They don't look quite deep enough to offer sufficient protection in the event the bike touches down.....Hmmm?
