It’s a well made item, you can feel the quality in it. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is down to the video fitting instructions. The instruction in the video for locating and disconnecting the existing V2 SP wiring does not match the wiring that is under the seat of the Hypermotard V2 I have, it is simply nowhere near as simple or as accessible as your video shows. Previous tail tidy’s I have bought from you for other machines have been fine, but not this one. There is absolutely no way it is possible to simply locate and disconnect the existing connectors as shown in your video. In fact, the connectors you need access to are located tightly beneath a tray that holds many things in place including the battery and fuse box. It is impossible to pull the wiring connectors through what little gap is available. Perhaps the under seat wiring set up has changed since your video was made. As it stands, I am going to have to send my V2 SP to the dealership where a technician can work out how to fit it for me, at some expense.
This is a quality product - The online video for installation is done well - Very clear & informative. Anyone with basic mechanical skills can install this product. I did mess up the head on 2 of the small screws that hold on the Turn signals, because of a worn out tool of mine. I emailed if they could send me two more screws (I would like to have 4) but I was told no. For as expensive as this was - I would have hoped for a little love. But that didn’t happen. But the product was great and of high quality!!!
