A New Tail To Tell

We firmly believe that Evotech accessories should be exactly how we would want them to be fitted to our own motorcycles – many Evotech staff are riders and time-served fabrication engineers, so you can imagine how critical we are of own products.
With increasing sales worldwide, there are occasions where motorcycle models can differ from one market to another. This is usually because of local transport legislation and the need for motorcycles to meet homologation approval. As a rule, these differences are found in lighting requirements and tyre specifications. However, one major difference is the physical size of motorcycle registration / licence / i.d. / numberplates.
In the UK and Europe, motorcycle registration plates / licence plates/ i.d. plates / numberplates are generally large (almost billboard-like), while in other markets e.g. the USA, they can be smaller, longer or narrower, or a mix of all of these.
To ensure greater compatibility across the world, the latest generation of Evotech Tail Tidies will accommodate all ‘plates’. How? We’ve designed the lower section of the Tail Tidy, the section that supports large ‘plates’, to be removable in order accommodate smaller sized plates i.e. the support bracket isn’t visible.
The first model to feature this latest design update is the new 2024 Honda CBR600RR. By fitting the Evotech Tail Tidy’s supplied machined aluminium lower “V section” it enables the secure install of larger plates in a matter of seconds. As with all Evotech products, all fasteners where required are supplied.
