Locked down… but business as usual!

It’s safe to say that 2020 has been no ordinary year with the unprecedented challenges brought about by the global Covid-19 pandemic. And, as the UK starts another month-long lockdown (5 November-2 December), we wanted to keep you updated on what, if any, changes you need to be aware of before ordering accessories from www.evotech-performance.com

The good news is that during this latest period of lockdown, our business can continue operating as usual. Since the initial Covid-19 outbreak, Evotech Performance has followed and adhered to UK Government advice at all times, because the health and well-being of everyone in the Evotech Performance supply chain is our absolute priority. Read more about our Covid-19 Prevention Policy here. This has enabled us to continue fabricating our quality accessories in-house at our factory in Alford, Lincolnshire, with minimal disruption.

In fact, accessories ordered direct from www.evotech-performance.com are still being despatched five days per week as usual, in-line with our terms and conditions. That said, during a period of lockdown, it is possible that some shipping services will be disrupted, such as Royal Mail International services. Unfortunately, this is something we have no control over. We will always do our best to highlight any known postal issues at checkout, but please bear in mind that once your order leaves our factory, tracking is the responsibility of the courier you have chosen. 

Like all quality products, it takes time to produce what we consider the best available aftermarket protection and rider aid accessories, and with a constantly increasing product range coupled with increased customer demand over the past six months, we’re aware that some of our most popular accessories go quickly out of stock. With an ever-changing production schedule, we might not be able to give you an exact indication of when these will be available again on our website, but rest assured we’re working hard to get them back online as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer a ‘pre-order’ service and don’t take your money if the accessory you’re after isn’t in stock in case delays go on longer than we hoped. All our accessories sold at www.evotech-performance.com are on a first-come-first-served basis, so don’t forget to sign-up to our stock notifications to ensure you’re among the first to be alerted when the product you’re after becomes available again.  

As we approach another busy period (everyone knows someone with an EP accessory on their Christmas list, right?!), we’re keen to ensure you get the accessories you order on time, so have compiled the below suggestions to help make sure your Christmas shopping is as stressless as possible!

    2. 2. Order as early as possible in the day/week to ensure prompt despatch. Please bear in mind that delivery times may take slightly longer because in addition to the current lockdown, couriers will be exceptionally busy during these coming months, which means there may be further delays.
    3. 3. Where possible, all enquiries should be directed to us via our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram where they will be answered quickly, helping us to free up our busy product development teams to do what they do best!
