Why would a Triumph Tiger Sport 660 require a radiator guard?

EP radiator guards are designed to protect a motorcycle radiator from damage caused by road debris, while allowing essential cooling air to pass through. Regardless of engine capacity and overall performance, without a quality radiator guard in place the radiator cooling fins can get hammered and stone chippings, flung from the front tyre or passing traffic, can hole the radiator core. As a fragile and intricate component, the Tiger Sport 660 radiator is very difficult to repair (in most cases beyond economical repair) and expensive to replace.

Easy fitting quality radiator guard

The radiator guard is a quality product and fitting was pretty straight forward. The fitting instructions are like a picture book and could have been better, there was a step missing which related to the removal of the original bold fittings that needed to be removed before installing the Evotech bolt fittings but it was fairly straight forward to figure out. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Tiger 660 Sport Radiator Guard.

Excellent piece of kit, came with all mounting fittings and securely fastens to the radiator unlike some other makes which only cable tie on.

First class service from ordering to delivery, packaging was excellent, delivery was very quick.
The rad cover is top quality and very well made.
Very easy to fit on the bike, start to finish took 30 minutes.

Tiger 660 radiator guard

Well packaged and promptly delivered. The quality was excellent and has a premium feel to it. Take your time following the instructions but relatively easy and straightforward to fit. Looks good fitted and only time will tell its effectiveness. No damage to the radiator from road debris then job done. Would definitely recommend.
