I felt the need to protect the engine casings, just in case. I chose EVOTECH over other brands because of their shape and quality. They do look a little on the wide side when fitted especially on the near side. I asked if the Ducati Cafe Racer needed shorter ones as it is lower due to the 17" wheel. Apparently only one size is available. I have to assume that someone did the measuring during development and that is the size required. They are not easily shortened so I fitted daytime running lights on brackets to take your eye away from the width. That appears to have done the trick. Looks a bit BMW though.
