Why fit an EP Rectifier Guard?

Regulator / rectifiers are designed and positioned to benefit from static and passing airflow, which cools this important electrical unit. Unfortunately, a regulator / rectifier is also ‘open’ to damage from road debris. The KTM 390 Duke EP guard is designed to protect the reg / rec’s delicate aluminium body and cooling fins by preventing stones, grit and other road debris from causing damage - they usually crack. The result of which will be corrosion and water ingress invariably leading the unit failing.

Delivery

  • UK – Royal Mail 48hrs to 72hrs – Expected delivery time of 2-3 working days
  • Europe – UPS Standard – Expected delivery time of 4-5 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – Royal Mail Airmail (International Priority):
    • Europe – 6-8 working days
    • Rest of the world – 8-15 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express – 2-3 working days
  • Europe and rest of the world – UPS Express Saver – 4-5 working days
  • Please also note that following the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 January 2021, we have become aware of some additional charges, which are payable when your parcel reaches the destination country. These include small disbursement fees or handling fees on orders placed with UPS or Royal Mail. These additional charges are dependent on the destination country. 

Next day delivery

  • Monday to Thursday orders placed before 12pm midday will ship the same day for next day delivery (excludes bank holidays)
  • Friday orders by 12:00 midday are expected to be delivered on Monday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Saturday and Sunday orders are expected to be delivered the following Tuesday (excludes bank holidays)
  • Bank holidays and weekend orders will normally be shipped next working day.

Ktm 390 Duke rectifier guard

Well made and would fit well butI didn't realise that to install it, you have to remove the rear foot rests permanently, I may have missed it in the description, but I don't recall seeing that. This is the only reason I removed a star.
Evotech refunded my money without any quibble.
If you don't mind loosing your rear pegs, then this is a neat accessory.
